Beginning on January 15, transfers on Chongqing’s public transit system (between bus and light rail) completed within an hour of one another will be either free or discounted. For transfer tickets not exceeding the price of the original ticket and less than 2 RMB, the transfer will be free. For transfer tickets exceeding the price of the original ticket or transfer tickets more than 2 RMB, a 2 RMB discount will be given. This offer does not apply for light rail to light rail transfers
