On October 23, the United States approved cooperation between the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in America and China CNR. The United States will purchase 284 subway trains for the Boston area, 132 for operation on the red line and 152 for the orange line.
This is the first time that a Chinese rail transportation equipment company has won a bid for a contract in the United States; the second biggest railway market, second only to China.
The subway trains are to be operating at a speed of 63 miles per hour (102 kilometers per hour), and will go 80,000 miles a year (or 129,000 kilometers) for at least 30 years. Trains’ specifics, such as structural strength, safety aspects and RAMS requirements will adhere to American standards.

I'll choose a Chinese subway over an American subway any day. The Boston subway trains look a hundred years old. It's about time they got new ones.

Another example of how american government(s) screws over the american workers. Taking american tax dollars and shipping it to China the very same country they (govt) tell us (people) is a threat .
