China’s Smallest Premie Born in Chongqing

The baby that is said to be the smallest premie born in China is 28 centimeters long, and weighs 660 grams – her length is being compared to a chopstick. The baby is currently in an incubator in a Chongqing hospital, and coping.

However, doctors say the premie still has a long road ahead, as she will have to battle breathing and feeding difficulties, infections, and other unforeseeable complications.

The premie was born on November 13, when her mother had an emergency C-section.
