Nov 19, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Chengdu saw a motionless contest this week, for the first time ever. The 200 participants were not permitted to move or laugh, but had to sit or lie still.

The contest, which originated in nearby Korea, was held in order to remind people to slow down their fast-paced lives.
