China to Introduce Hefty Fines for Smoking in Trains in 2014

Railway authorities have announced that a new measure will go into effect on January 1, 2014 that will allow smokers in trains to be fined up to 2000 RMB.

The measure also pertains to other offenses including throwing rubbish out of the train and engaging in behavior that threatens the safety of the train. Reports also state that the minimum fine issued will be 500 RMB and the maximum will be 2000 RMB per offense.

Well they can also fine 10000000000000 RMB but no one feels like in charge for let the people pay. It's like saying crossing a red traffic light will be fined with 10000 RMB but no one will control it.
