Over 70 Ice lanterns are being set up on Daqing's street corners this weekend in celebration of the New Year. An additional 43 snow and ice sculptures also being built around Daqing. In particular, a 10 metre tall "abstract peace dove" sculpture will be installed at the Shiji Dadao highway entrance (世纪大道高速路口). Also, at the intersection of Shiji Dadao and the Old 301 National Highway (世纪大道与老301国道交叉口处), a 10-metre sculpture entitled "life" will be installed. Also look out for:

At the intersection of Jingjiu Jie and Shiji Dadao (经九街与世纪大道交叉口), you'll find the "bound happiness" sculpture.
At the front gate of "Times Square" (时代广场门前), you'll find the  "opportunities and challenges" sculpture.
At the interesction of Chengshisenlin (城市森林路口), you'll find the "elephant" sculpture.
At Zhuanpan Dao in the Children's Park (儿童公园转盘道), you'll find the "12 animals of the zodiac" sculpture.
At Jingsan Jie near the Botanical Garden (经三街植物园附近), you'll find the "Forest Inn" sculpture.
At the entrance to Jiuhaoyuan (九号院门口), you'll find six "victory" sculptures, and a 9 dragon wall sculpture.
At a small park in Dongfeng Village (东风新村街心公园), you'll find the "idoms" sculpture.
At Jingsan Jie near Liming River (经九街黎明河附近), you'll find the "Arc de Triomphe" sculpture.
