The Beijing Center for Disease Prevention and Control reported on October 5 that Beijing has seen 16 cases of Dengue fever so far this year.
The cases however, were contracted outside of the country- the 16 patients had been travelling in Thailand, Indonesia and South East Asia when they contracted the virus.
They also updated that there were no cases of Ebola in Beijing.
