Beijing Network Security Anti-Fraud Alliance Officially Launched April 17
Apr 21, 2014 By eChinacities.com

On April 17 teams from the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau and the internet company 360, jointly launched the Anti Fraud Alliance to combat online fraud. The occasion was marked by an opening ceremony in the capital.

The network will share information on malicious URLs and fake QQ and telephone number scams in order to establish a collective database of information regarding online crime. Working together, they hope to be able to monitor online activity, read the warning signs and liaise with police units to catch fraudsters red handed; before they get their hands on victims’ money.
