Beijing Metro Begins New Emergency Guide System
Mar 20, 2014 By eChinacities.com

Everyone of Beijing’s Metro stations will, from now on, be equipped with the Emergency Guide System. The system consists of guides who will be on hand to assist you on your journey to navigate the underworld of Beijing’s transport network.

These guides will have maps at the ready, where upon they can draw your route for you and give you the map so you can follow the directions to your destination. The system will have its own window so you don’t have to queue up with those people waiting to buy tickets or top-up their metro cards.
