With Golden Week nearing, Beijing’s authorities have cracked down on ticket touts outside main tourist attractions.

On September 24, five touts were arrested in Xicheng District, near the Beijing Zoo. The touts confessed to buying their tickets using disabled certificates at 25 RMB, and then selling them on to tourists for 40 RMB, or even more if the queues are long.
