The 12th meeting of the Beijing Standing Committee recently drafted the Beijing Tobacco Control Bill which will prohibit smoking in areas with high concentrations of people, particularly minors.
The bill will expand the existing (but seldom enforced) indoor public smoking ban to include outdoor areas surrounding work places, schools and other public buildings.
