On August 13, the Liaoning Provincial Health Department in Shenyang issued statements reporting recent incidents of human anthrax infection. This report included seven human cases of anthrax in Liaoning Province. Three of the cases were found in Liaozhong County and one was found in Yuhong District in Shenyang, with the remaining three discovered in other areas. No deaths have been reported.
