Yesterday, five foreign illegal immigrants were arrested trying to cross into Hong Kong from Shenzhen by boat. While being arrested, one continued to mumble to himself, “We went in a big circle, and ended up back at square one.”

Five illegal immigrants attempted to cross into Hong Kong from Shenzhen by boat only to be caught halfway by Hong Kong marine police and hunted down. In the end, they had no choice but to turn back to Shenzhen’s Xiaomeisha shore where they were arrested by waiting Shenzhen police.

Shenzhen police intercepted the boat near Xiaomeisha boardwalk, but to their surprise, the boat was empty.

At first Shenzhen police were confused, had they been give the incorrect information? Soon, officers located on the shore discovered the stowaways hiding around the boardwalk. Apparently the ship’s captain, in desperation, had told the passengers that they had already reached Hong Kong and that they needed to get out and hide.
