On February 2, rockers SUBS, The Yours, Hell Yeah, and Kouxian will rock out at Kunming's Camel Bar. SUBS are an independent punk rock band that are also nicknamed "SPUNK PUNK". Their lead-singer Kang Mao is affectionately known by fans as "The Queen of Punk" and "The Howling Queen". The Yours are a band who describe their style as a hybrid of punk rock and noise pop, while TBOR are a rock band who have performed at various popular festivals such as Strawberry and Zhang Guanli. Heavy metal group Hell Yeah are known for their song “You Wouldn’t Know” which broke into the top 10 on the mainstream rock chart. Local heroes Kouxian were formed in 2005 and blend a whole range of musical styles into their unique nu-metal-y style. The four-band lineup will ensure a noise-ridden show that surely can't be missed.
