A number of delayed trains from Guangzhou East Railway Station left 100,000 passengers stranded for up to ten hours in and outside the station yesterday. Passengers crowded in the station and in the square outside. Some waited outside the station in the rain and wind for ten hours.

Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan and other provinces experienced a range of wintery weather in the past few days, which affected rail transport to the areas.
