Zhengzhou is a hub of transportation for the Henan Province, so travel in and out of the city by road, rail and air is quite simple. The airport is located nearly 40 kilometers outside of the city but the railway station, which services many of the same destinations, is situated inside the city. Most major destinations in China can also be reached by long distance bus, though the travel times may make this option unappealing for many travelers, despite low ticket prices.
