World’s Tallest Man Spotted Around Shanghai

World’s Tallest Man Spotted Around Shanghai
Oct 08, 2013 By eChinacities.com

Being the world’s tallest man must be a tough gig: having to crouch down when going through doorways, not fitting into regular-sized cars, not finding any clothes that fit you in stores, not to mention the stares. Oh the stares.

At 2.51 meters tall, Sultan Kosen from Turkey didn’t exactly blend in when he was walking down Nanjing Road in Shanghai on October 5. But then again, maybe blending in wasn’t quite his intention. The Guinness World Record holder was actually in Shanghai to promote cultural ties between China and Turkey. Besides walking along Shanghai’s busiest shopping street, Kosen was also spotted making Turkish ice-cream, roasting meet and making traditional Turkish kebabs at the Shanghai Mart.
