Brooklyn indie band Pains of Being Pure at Heart will perform at Yugong Yishan in Beijing on Saturday, February 25th. Split Works is sponsoring the event. Last year, their second album, Belong, received Pitchfork’s Best New Music distinction, and has likewise been praised by the New York Times and Stereogum among others. The band is touring China as part of a preview concert series for the JUE | Music + Art Festival in March.
