Still Thoughts静思素食坊 View In Map
This popular no-frills vegetarian restaurant is nestled in a quiet, old hutong, mirroring the atmosphere of calm found within. The restaurant serves a wide range of mock meat dishes, as well as a number of creative tofu and vegetable based ones. Because the restaurant is run by Buddhists, no onions or garlic are added to the food. Although the concept of eating mock meat dishes is not for every vegetarian, this restaurant imitates the real deal particularly well. Incidentally, Peta Asia-Pacific voted Still Thoughts one of Beijing’s top 3 vegetarian restaurants in 2008.
