The most popular hot spring hotel is the Tuanbo Lake Hot Spring, which isn’t too far from the city and boasts a wide range of pools. Other excellent options include Dijing Hot Spring Holiday Village, where revellers can hit the slopes with some skiing or relax in the warm pools; Dongli Lake Happy Valley, which is very family-friendly; or Haideyi Hot Spring Leisure Center for those in search of fresh sea air and ocean views.

1) Tuanbo Lake Hot Spring  View In Map
Located in the Tuanbo Lake Hotel (团泊湖温泉酒店) around 16 km from the city proper, this hot spring resort features a wide range of pools, including a Caribbean style area and a Mediterranean garden. A number of indoor pools cater to those wishing to seek refuge from the outdoor temperatures; though it certainly feels more refreshing taking a dip in the pools outside. Weekends can get pretty crowded especially at the buffet area. There aren’t many other dining options in the area, so be prepared to join the queue!

The Dijing Hot Spring Village (帝景温泉度假村) is positioned roughly 45 km from the city in the Jingjin New City area (坻京津新城). Besides boasting the usual array of pools, the Dijing Hot Spring also features a high-class VIP villa section and spa. Visitors can also check out the international area, which has a Japanese-style pool and Turkish baths. The holiday village is home to a ski slope, with an admission price of just 80 RMB for three hours.

Currently Asia’s largest indoor hot spring project, the Dongli Lake Happy Valley (东丽湖温泉欢乐谷), covers an area of over 55,000 square meters, and embraces a Mediterranean theme. The area offers a variety of pools, including a rejuvenating medicinal bath and water therapy spring. Compared to other hot springs, Dongli Lake places a heavy emphasis on water activities, with the hot springs making up only one part of the whole area. Very child-friendly, visitors can splash about in the many slides, tubes and water fountains dotted around the center.

The Haideyi Hot Spring Leisure Center (海德怡温泉休闲会馆) can be found in Tianjin’s Binhai New Area (天津滨海新区) and is just east of the ocean. With a capacity of over 1,200 people, the leisure center boasts fresh, clean water in its many different pools. One of the advantages of coming here is that visitors have easy access to the bay area and can enjoy the ocean views.
