Instead of hiding away from the cold inside, why not embrace the chill outside by indulging in a weekend of winter sports? Shijiazhuang boasts a number of popular ski slopes such as the Qingliang Mountain Ski Resort on the outskirts or the Xibaipo Hot Springs which now also has a newly opened slope. For true adventurers there’s the Wanlong Ski Resort at nearby city Zhangjiakou where more experienced skiers are put to the test with its steep slopes.  But no matter which resort you choose, Shijiazhuang offers plenty of choice for skiers of all levels.
