Located inside Shenyang National Forest Park, the award-winning NEA Ski has the most slopes of any resort in the province, from beginner courses to tracks designed especially for professional skiers. Shenyang's newest and biggest ski resort, Guaipo Ski comes well-equipped with two advanced, three intermediate, and three beginner slopes to choose from. There's also an ice park, a special course for circular sledding, a half-pipe for snowboarding, and aerial ramps for seriously advanced thrill seekers. Hire an instructor for 150 RMB for one hour or 240 RMB for two hours.

3) Qipan Shan Ski ResortView In Map
Qipan Shan is a place where you have the option of leaving the skiing to the speed demons and heading up the mountain for some quality hiking. In fact, with a kids' play area, horse-riding zone, camel park, and ice-sculpture garden, Qipan Shan might have the title of most non-ski-related activities available in one ski resort. You can even play tug-of-war here. Just remember to bring a snack because meals here can get pretty expensive.

Ever wanted to play soccer in the snow? At Baiqing Zhai, that's just one of the many winter hijinks you can get up to, also including inner tubing and snowboarding, plus the usual three skill levels of skiing. Slopes tend to be steeper here than at other resorts, so steer clear of even the intermediate slopes if you are a beginner.
