From their bite-sized truffles to their to-die-for Burnt Orange Chocolate Mud (trust me – it tastes so much better than it sounds!), this place has consistently been ranked on top when it comes to chocolate. And if you still don’t believe that Tan loves chocolate with all his heart, take a look at the oh-so-fashionable high-heeled shoes that line the windows of this place – yes, they’re entirely made out of chocolate.

Attesting to House of Flour’s undeniable popularity, owner Tan has opened a second location, entitled Hof. This branch focuses solely on dessert (yay!) and cocktails, so expect more good things from this chocolate-centric café. The best part about it is that the desserts (even the gorgeous looking fancy truffles) are all reasonably priced, especially for the quality you’re receiving. Just another reason to love Hof!

Awfully ChocolateView In Map
The name says it all (the chocolate part of it, I mean). And in case you have any doubts about Awfully Chocolate’s focus, take a look at their menu. They serve exactly three types of chocolate-based cakes and exactly three types of chocolate-based ice cream. That’s it. Why is that all they sell? Well, when you’ve pretty much perfected the art of chocolate cake and ice cream, why bother doing anything else? Be prepared when you order their unbelievably dense cake, though – either share with a friend or prepare to die of a chocolate overdose. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

One of the better known dessert joints in the city, Whisk has built its reputation on chocolate. As soon as you spot the building (which is made to look like a layered cake – very cute), walk inside to find oversized slabs of milk and dark chocolate just sitting there, ready for you to devour. One sip of their insanely dense hot chocolate and you’ll know you’re in good, chocolaty hands.

Blue Frog 蓝蛙View In Map
Who knew that everyone’s favorite place for burgers could also satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth? While their chocolate cake is good, what you really need to save room for is their brownie. Served in two sizes, either small or large (I’m telling you now, just go for the large!), this brownie has officially come close to perfection. Perfectly fudgy and gooey on the inside, it’s chock full of chopped walnuts and served with a generous scoop of ice cream. Its moist center borders on that any-less-time-in-the-oven-and-it-would-be-undercooked heaven that defines good brownies.
